Three Pin Platforms, One Profile
The hardware around the pins is shared. Housing and plug are solid brass, the 7×7 and pin-in-pin bodies measure 32.85 x 16.85 x 9.85 mm and the anti-snap shell 32.9 x 16.9 x 9.9 mm. What changes is the pin stack. The 7×7 platform runs seven key pins and seven driver pins of 2.5 mm diameter in 0.4 mm steps. Pin-in-pin runs five telescopic key pins, each a 4.0 mm outer sleeve around a 2.0 mm inner pin, plus five driver pins, with pins three and four carrying anti-picking structures. The 1-star anti-snap cylinder runs six key pins and six drivers mixing mushroom, straight, spool, double-groove and hardened steel.
Choosing a Variant
Each platform is offered as a double cylinder, as a thumbturn cylinder with a solid brass K8 knob on a detachable structure, and with an added magnetic pin. The pin-in-pin platform adds a floating pin version in both body styles. Key type follows the platform: the 7×7 and pin-in-pin cylinders take dimple or computer keys, supplied five to a set on H11 plastic heads in nickel silver or full brass, while the anti-snap cylinder is built around a vertical key. Standard finish is pearl nickel throughout, and the anti-snap body is pearl nickel plated and oil sealed.
What the Numbers Mean
Pin count, pin step and hole diameter are the figures that decide picking and bumping resistance. The 7×7 stack steps in 0.4 mm on 2.5 mm pins. The telescopic stack steps in 0.5 mm and passes a 4.0 mm outer sleeve and a 2.0 mm inner pin through the same plug, which adds a second shear line. The anti-snap platform uses 2.8 mm pins in 3.0 mm holes. Supply is five keys per set in nickel silver or full brass. The 78 mm double cylinder is a fixed length, and the modular assembly system is the route to other lengths.
