Zinc Alloy Door Viewers

Die-cast zinc alloy door viewers for 35 mm to 60 mm doors, with a 27 mm viewing head and a privacy cover built into the eyepiece. Two tube sizes are offered, 14 mm and a 16 mm reinforced version with an integrated inner tube.

Why Die-Cast Zinc Alloy With a Built-In Cover

Two details separate this series from a brass viewer. First, the privacy cover is part of the eyepiece rather than a separate accessory, so a door plant does not have to stock, fit or align a second part, which removes assembly labour from every unit. Second, the 2014Z version uses a 16 mm outer tube with an integrated inner tube, which raises resistance to forced extraction, drilling and mechanical tampering. The housing is high-strength die-cast zinc alloy, impact resistant and weighted like solid brass at a competitive commercial price point.

Two Models, Two Tube Sizes, One Thickness Band

Both models cover the same 35 mm to 60 mm door thickness and share a 27 mm head, so the decision is tube size and finish rather than door thickness. 2014-35-60XG-AB uses a 14 mm tube with antique brass as standard. 2014Z-35-60XG-G uses the 16 mm reinforced tube with gold plating as standard. Either can be ordered in SC, SN, PB, CP, AC, AB or ORB. F2014J is a matching zinc alloy threaded extension tube, and a UL fire rating of 1/3 hour or 1.5 hour is available as an option on both.

Where They Are Specified, and How They Are Made

Typical use is apartment and condominium entry doors, hotel guest rooms, executive suites and 35 mm to 60 mm office doors. Finishes are electroplated, so gold, antique brass and antique copper resist tarnishing, fingerprints and environmental wear. Production runs 30 to 45 days, loading is FOB Ningbo, Shanghai or Tianjin, and 2D and 3D CAD files are released for pre-installation planning. The company has operated since 2001, holds full ISO9001 certification, and runs a facility of over 5,000 square metres with more than 100 staff using CNC machining, high-pressure die-casting and optical assembly lines.

Yes. The XG series has the cover built into the eyepiece, so no separate accessory has to be ordered or fitted, and the cover blocks reverse viewing from outside the door.
